We are proud to recognize Eva Santiago-Rosenberg as the 2024 Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year, Jazzlyn Winter as the 2024 Coeur d’Alene Junior Youth of the Year, and Alexander Malgren as the 2024 Post Falls Junior Youth of the Year.
Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center in Post Falls hosted our annual program on January 25, 2024.
We'd like to congratulate Eva for a job well done!
Eva is a quiet, skilled, and creative high school student who has developed into an amazing staff member. Our younger members look up to her and try to emulate her work ethic. Eva's commitment to the Club, and the passion she has for our members is truly remarkable. We are fortunate that Eva chooses to share her time, wisdom, and experience with us.
The Youth of the Year program fosters Club members' emerging
leadership abilities and provides the foundation they need for advanced leadership development, academic excellence, and post secondary success. Through this program, Club youth become motivated to seek opportunities for leadership and to act as responsible citizens and change agents.

State of Idaho Youth of the Year
February 22, 2024
Eva, our 2024 Kootenai County Youth of the Year, recently traveled to Boise to compete in the State of Idaho Youth of the Year program. The seven finalists visited the State Capitol, met with Lieutenant Governor Scott Bedke, and toured the Boise State Nursing Program, Workforce Development. Our staff mentor, Kinsley Finch, accompanied Eva and offered her support and guidance.
Eva gave a compelling and heartfelt speech but ultimately fell short of the prized top position in the competition. The entire Boys & Girls Club family is proud of you Eva. Great job!
